Luke Winslow-King live in Nica Jazz Club, Hamburg
Music that moves gracefully between blues, soul, jazz, classical, Americana, folk, and Spanish sounds. Luke Winslow-King is considered one of the outstanding American guitarists and songwriters of the past 25 years. His music moves gracefully between blues, soul, jazz, classical, and folk. From the very first note, he effortlessly draws listeners into his genre-crossing and dynamic world. With fluid guitar playing, fearless songwriting, and a rough yet tender voice, his music leaves a lasting impression. Winslow-King, originally from Cadillac, Michigan, and now living in Spain, drew heavily from the sources of blues and rock, having been influenced in his youth by Chess Records and classic rock radio. He soon fell in love with New Orleans, where he spent more than fifteen years honing his craft as a street musician and formed a lasting musical partnership with guitarist Roberto Luti. On Luke Winslow-King's latest album "Coast of Light," he mixes blues, jazz, folk, and Spanish influences into a lively and atmospheric musical style. We're in for an impressive concert experience with a musician who is sure to leave a lasting impression on everyone.
