Open the Jamr app and allow location access. The home screen will automatically show upcoming events in your area. You can search by genre, venue, or artist. We currently have the best coverage in Groningen, with Den Haag launching in February 2026. The rest of the Netherlands has partial coverage that we're expanding.
Yes! Jamr is completely free to download and use. You can discover shows, follow artists and venues, and get notified about new events at no cost. If you want to promote your events to reach more people, you can add funds to your wallet and purchase promotions.
Artist and venue profiles are automatically created based on event data. If you see your profile and want to manage it, you can claim it directly in the app. Go to the profile page and tap the "Claim" button to start the verification process.
Yes! When you follow an artist or venue, you'll automatically receive push notifications when they announce new shows. Make sure notifications are enabled for Jamr in your phone settings.
Events are added through multiple channels: automatic API connections with ticketing platforms, scraping from venue websites, and manual submissions. If your events aren't showing up, contact us at info@jamr.live and we'll help get you connected.
Jamr is available throughout the Netherlands. We have near-complete coverage in Groningen, and Den Haag will have full coverage starting February 2026. Other cities have partial coverage that we're actively expanding.
You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can email support@jamr.live and we'll handle it for you. Please note that account deletion is permanent and all your data will be removed.
We appreciate bug reports! Please email support@jamr.live with a description of the issue, the device you're using, and steps to reproduce the problem. Screenshots or screen recordings are incredibly helpful.
Yes! You can promote your events to increase visibility within the Jamr community. Add funds to your wallet in the app, then use those funds to boost your events. Promoted events appear higher in search results and get featured to relevant users.
