Two years later, the highly acclaimed debut album "Never Never Land" followed. Since then, she has been one of the most respected voices in jazz, has made 12 recordings that have been nominated several times for a Grammy and is a regular guest on the world's great stages. She enchants with refreshing naturalness, warmth in her voice and swinging phrasing. "With a distinctive style that bridges the line between Ella Fitzgerald's extroverted, easy-going swinging approach and Linda Eder's more restrained Broadway and cabaret style, Jane Monheit is a virtuoso."
