This stunning musician gets us into the Christmas spirit this evening. The singer-songwriter moves with ease between pop, neo-soul, jazz and quiet reflections. Her songs feel like little walks through thoughts and feelings. They are inner worlds turned into sound and not mere moods, rather Debby Smith takes us on a musical journey. After her debut EP "Peace of Mind" and years of creative growth, her first album "Luna Park" was released in 2025, created over three years. This album is more than just a collection of songs. Named after a street in Hamburg that connects Debby's home with the studio of her long-time producer Gregor Sonnenberg, the title is emblematic of the space between movement and pause, between the hustle and bustle of the big city and quiet pause. Musically, Debby effortlessly blurs genre boundaries between soulful intimacy, folky warmth, jazzy depth and clear pop production. A timeless, cinematic sound is created here, over which her warm, soulful voice is laid, profound and at the same time light. "Luna Park" is an invitation to feel, pause and walk. Each song is a step through light and shadow, through questions and clarity. For those looking for a moment of peace or a walk through their own inner world, Debby Smith's music offers just the thing. You should not miss these fantastic musician!
