“The Dutch Frank Zappa.” That is how Lucky Fonz III dubbed Thor Kissing in a 3voor12 clip on the Edison Awards red carpet. And although the music is incomparable, he certainly is in terms of originality and productivity. After all, Thor Kissing has been your favorite musician and favorite madman for 20 albums now, and his 21st album, ‘guitenstreken’, set to be released in December, confirms this once again. Guitenstreken will be presented on December 9th at PAARD Cafe, during a special evening centered on this artist, around whom the Dutch music scene has been buzzing for quite some time. It will be a celebration of the extraordinary talent Thor possesses, and all those wacky yet moving songs. During this evening, which is entirely dedicated to ‘guitenstreken’, Kissing will perform mainly new work, naturally interspersed with weird indie pop classics like HAMERTJE TIK, Obtylan, Disco 54, and many more. Thor welcomes two of his favorite Dutch artists to the Paard Cafe this evening:
